- The Library
First spot is the library, which is located on the 10th and 11th floors of the International Tower. This modern facility, recently constructed, boasts a compact yet diverse book collection. You will also find an abundance of desks, complete with electricity and power sockets for your convenience. Additionally, there are counter tables thoughtfully placed along the stairwell, as well as a dedicated section tailored specifically for graduate students. Underneath the desks, you’ll discover ample
storage space for your belongings. Interestingly, some students have found the library so comfortable that they’ve even resorted to using the floor for impromptu naps.
- 8th Floor Lounge
If you take the escalator all the way up to the 8th floor, you’ll find the student lounge at our Ikebukuro campus. This place is a real hit among students because it’s loaded with cool stuff! You’ll spot vending machines for quick snacks and drinks, plus a microwave oven for those delicious reheats. And don’t miss out on the Matsuya vending machine for some extra convenience.
Inside, there’s a wide variety of seating options. Many students love to relax on the long wooden sofas by the sunny windows – it’s the perfect spot for a cozy nap or study session. You will also find desks with partitions for group study, as well as a couple of desks close to the escalators. It’s a bustling hub where students gather throughout the day, making it an ideal place for studying with friends and having a good time.
In addition, there is a set of doors leading to the rooftop. From up there, you get an awesome view of Tokyo, including the stunning Tokyo SkyTree. Now that the weather’s cooled down with the arrival of fall, it’s just perfect for chilling out on one of the benches with a good book on a sunny day.
Enjoy the view and some relaxing reading time!
- Global Commons and Learning Commons
Now, let’s talk about the awesome spaces on the second and third floors! On the second floor, you’ll find a bustling hub with three clocks. It’s where many students come to hang out and chat with their friends.
As for the third floor, you’ll discover designated spots for English-only conversations and Japanese-only conversations. It’s like a mini United Nations up there – a great place if you’re looking to brush up on your language skills. So, whether you want to chat in English or Japanese, this floor
