The Shinjuku Sports Center Toyama Park is easily accessible by taking a train from Ikebukuro to Takadanobaba, followed by a short 5-minute walk. The centre features a variety of sports facilities and gym equipment, making it an ideal spot for both exercise and training. It operates from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, closing on the 4th Monday of each month and during the year-end and New Year holidays. Entry fees are affordable, with rates for fitness and swimming at ¥400 each, and no activity costing more than ¥1500. Situated in the heart of the park, it’s perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings after a workout.

The facility operates from 9 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, providing ample opportunities to engage in your favorite sport. The entry fee varies depending on the season and duration of use: during the summer months (July to September), the centre operates on a 2-hour basis with fees of ¥400 for adults and ¥200 for seniors (Toshima Ward residents), with an additional ¥200 for adults and ¥100 for seniors/children per hour thereafter. For regular visitors, a monthly “Free Pass” is available, costing ¥3,500 for residents and ¥4,500 for non-residents. Tickets can be purchased from vending machines at the facility, and no registration is required for entry, regardless of residence.
